There are very few things I disliked about Friendship is Magic: Season 2, but one of them was the Friendship Express. Don't get me wrong, I'm okay with the soft, cutesy aesthetic that shows up in just about, well, everything, but there's an air of dignity to be found as well.

The Friendship Express doesn't have it. So, I gave the train a level in swag, and scrapped the gingerbread-house look.

Have you seen that library? Nopony's ever in there. A mare coming in to read books is the strange part.

Well, I was kind of enjoying it until the first panel here, where Twilight's chooses her words in such a way that implies the other five ponies are only her friends.

"Spike, my friends and I have to go to Canterlot."
"Okay, I'll go grab some supplies."
"Spike, I said 'my friends and I'. What makes you think that includes you?"
"..."

Fuck you, Twilight.

I agree with the title, THAT'S a good looking train; It has a British look but with SOME American simplicity, If I had to classify it it may NOT be the EXACT class but I would give it a custom classification of a British 4-6-4 "light" Hudson (A ROYAL Hudson would look like the Flying Scotsman but with 4 trailing NOT 2, wheels).

Actually I was going to fix my comment, when I wrote the classification, I was thinking of a "DUCHESS" class engine by mistake, A Royal Hudson is A LOT different in style and size if you look it up; also the Royal Hudson I think ONLY exists in Canada, NOT England. Also I agree, because Baldwin had VERY distinct locomotives; if you are a train-nut, the details are beautifully and clearly obvious when observing engine's built by different companies like Alco, Lima, and others in THAT field.

yeah, that is weird and unnerving... for the third time now...

and nice train, makes more practical sense

and the use of objects to conduct magic with or without incantation is far better than not having the capacity at all... tacky or not... oh Rarity... missing the point... :P
